• Accuracy with isoCAL - all LE models are equipped with the isoCAL internal calibration and adjustment function.This means the balance will automatically perform calibration and subsequent adjustment whenever the ambient temperature changes by a certain amount, or when a factory-set time interval has elapsed. This gives you two decisive advantages in your daily lab procedures.

• Speed with a Brilliant Display - A hallmark of the Sartorius Expert balances is their display. Featuring blue backlighting and large, high-contrast digits (16.5 mm high), it is exceptionally easy to read under any lighting conditions. The intensity of the backlighting is simple to adjust at the place of use to suit the individual needs of the operator. In addition, the sealed surfaces of the display and control unit are protected from dust and moisture, making the unit easy to clean. What's more, the keys feature positive click action, giving the operator complete confidence.

  Flexible Draft Shield Design - The all-glass draft shield on the semi-micro and analytical balances (0.01 mg and 0.1 mg models) with smooth-action doors that open wide facilitate fast weighing. They enable the user to place a sample of any kind easily and quickly on the pan within the generously sized weighing chamber The Sartorius LE draft shield designs are also easy to clean. All parts of the weighing chamber base plate can be simply removed. Even the entire draft shield can be conveniently lifted off if thorough cleaning is required. The triangular draft shield on models with 1 mg readability is designed to offer the highest flexibility for weighing. The individually removable glass panels -- left, right or front -- make it easy for both left- and right-handed individuals to weigh-in samples that are rather difficult to handle, such as powdery materials that have to be accurately dispensed.

• Bidirectional RS-232C interface port and Built-In Applications Software - All Sartorius LE balances have an RS-232C interface port for bidirectional communication with other equipment. In addition, these balances provide built-in applications software offering the following programs: percent weighing, net-total formulation, dynamic weighing, animal weighing and mass unit conversion by toggling between two weight units.
